Update on Hwy 202 Closing

ANNOUNCEMENT – The Highway 202 bridge that crosses interstate 26 at mile marker 85 Little Mountain will be closed April 26th. The bridge will remain closed until October of 2021. The ramps for the interstate will not be closed. However, with the bridge closed, this means a driver leaving from the town of Little Mountain toward interstate 26 will be able to access the ramp towards Columbia but NOT a ramp towards Newberry/Greenville. A driver leaving Pomaria driving on Highway 202 toward Little Mountain interstate interchange will have access to the ramp towards Newberry/Greenville but NOT a ramp towards Columbia. Detour signs and closure signs will be posted around March 26th. The entire interchange project is predicted to be completed by July 2022.
