Storm Debris Removal Notice

Effective immediately, Newberry County Public Works will no longer be accepting debris — this includes the yard debris/mulching facility at the Newberry County Transfer Station.

Any debris will need to be placed upon the right-of-way in compliance with SCDOT.  At this time, we do not know when the state contractors will be at any specific location to pick-up debris. However, they will be picking up from all SCDOT, county, and local roads in Newberry County.

If you have questions you may call please call Newberry County Public Works at 803-321-2180. Please be advised that Public Works cannot answer any schedule questions in regards to pick-up and removal.
