Special Called Meeting

The Little Mountain Town Council met for a special meeting on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 5:30 pm. In attendance at the meeting were Mayor Jana Jayroe, Council Members Marty Frick, Patrick Bowers, Jillian Long and Mary Buntin. Council Member Bowers gave the invocation. There was no public in attendance at the meeting.
A brief discussion was held regarding concerns from citizens related to the town’s representation on the County Transportation Committee (CTC). Council members voiced their obligation to ensure that decisions made by representatives were in the best interest of all residents. A motion was made by Council Member Frick and seconded by Council Member Long to request the removal/resignation of the town’s current representative to Representative Joe White and Senator Ronnie Cromer. All members of the council were in favor of the motion.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
