The town clerk met with Corder Pest Control regarding possible termite damage at town hall.  The termites are inactive, but the damage was confirmed as termites.  The initial cost of the treatment is $840 with an annual cost of $165.  It was noted that the representative recommended the treatment before any new flooring was put down.  Frick motioned to accept the bid for termite treatments, the motion was seconded by Bowers and carried.

After reviewing flooring bids, a motion was made by Council Member White to accept the bid from Whitaker Floor Covering to include additional flooring material for the bathroom.  The motion included a start date of January 2024. The motion was seconded by Bowers and carried. 4-0.

The council reviewed the painting bids.  After discussion it was decided that additional information was needed.  The town clerk will request additional information for the vendors in order that a decision can be made.

Initial bids for painting of the exterior and interior of town hall will be due on November 13 for council to review at the November 14th meeting.  Bids for work at the Derrick center will be due on December 11 for review by the Council at the December 12th meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 pm.
