PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION
STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA TOWN OF LITTLE MOUNTAIN
A special election in the Town of Little Mountain will be held on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024.
Any person wishing to register to vote in this election must do so no later than Sunday, February
25th, 2024. Voter registration by mail applications will be accepted if postmarked by Monday,
February 26th, 2024.

Road, Newberry, SC 29108, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The following offices shall be included in this election:
Town Council Seat 1, Prosperity
Town Council Seat 2, Prosperity
Absentee Voting: Registered voters who cannot vote in person on the day of the election and
who will be out of the county for the duration of the early voting may be eligible to vote by
absentee ballot. Absentee ballot application requests can be obtained by calling the Newberry
County Voter Registration Office at 803-321-2121 or in person at the office, 1872 Wilson Road,
Newberry, SC 29108.
At 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, the Newberry County Board of Voter Registration
and Elections will begin its examination of the absentee ballot return envelopes at Newberry
County Voter Registration and Elections, 1872 Wilson Road, Newberry, SC 29108.
Early Voting: will begin Monday, March 11th, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to Friday,
March 22nd, 2024; Monday-Friday, at the Newberry County Voter Registration Office, 1872
Wilson Rd, Newberry, SC 29108.
On Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at 10:00 am, the Newberry County Board of Canvassers will
hold a hearing to determine the validity of all provisional ballots cast in the election. This
hearing will be held at Newberry County Voter Registration and Elections, 1872 Wilson Road,
Newberry, SC 29108.

7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.:
