Notice of Railroad Crossing Closure
The Town of Little Mountain has been notified by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and CSX Railroad that crossings within the Town of Little Mountain will be closed beginning on or about Tuesday, February 20, 2024, for repairs to the railroad crossings. The Hwy 202 (Pomaria Street) and Hwy 76 (Main Street) crossing will be the first to close. Repairs to crossings in town will take approximately three (3) days to complete. We have also been told by SCDOT that the I-26 Little Mountain exit will also be closed during this time. The Prosperity I-26 exit will remain open. We will continue to post updates as they are received.
