NOTICE of I-26 Lane Closures

Beginning April 15, 2024, there will be lane closures on I-26 East at the Indian Creek Bridge and the Palmetto Trail (Hwy 773). There will be two, .5 mile, one lane closures at each bridge to repair decking. All wide loads will be routed to Hwy 76 through Newberry, Prosperity, and Little Mountain then back on I26. The work will be continuous for 24 hours a day and is expected to take up to 30 days This will cause heavier than normal traffic in the US 76 corridor with wide loads and vehicles. There will be back ups and other issues. Please plan accordingly on your trips accordingly, be patient and exercise caution during this time!
