Town of Little Mountain
Meeting Minutes- December 17, 2025
The Little Mountain Town Council met on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Present for the meeting were Mayor Jana Jayroe, Council Members Marty Frick, Patrick Bowers and Jillian Long. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm and the invocation was given by Council Member Frick.
Frick made a motion to hold the second reading of the ordinance to update the Business License Ordinance Class Schedule as Required by Act 176 of 2020. The motion was seconded by Long and the motion carried.
Mayor Jayroe asked for a motion to go into executive session to discuss a personnel issue. The motion was made by Frick and seconded by Bowers. The executive session began at 6:35 pm.
Frick motioned to end the executive session and return to the meeting at 6:40 pm. A motion was made by Frick and seconded by Long to present the town clerk with a $500 Christmas bonus. After some discussion, the clerk declined the bonus due to the South Carolina Retirement System limit on earnings. A motion to withdraw the bonus was made and carried unanimously.
With no further business, a motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 pm.
