NOTICE NONPARTISAN GENERAL ELECTION
The Town of Little Mountain shall hold a nonpartisan election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The following offices shall be included, Council Member Seat No. 4, to fulfill an unexpired term. Any runoff election if needed, will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Any petition from any candidates shall be filed with the Newberry County Voter Registrations and Elections Office no later than noon on Monday, July 15, 2024. There is a filing fee of one hundred dollars ($100) for the mayoral seat and a filing fee of fifty dollars ($50) for council seats. For the purposes of elections in the Town of Little Mountain, there shall be one (1) ward and one (1) precinct which shall be coterminous with the corporate limits of the Town of Little Mountain. The Little Mountain polling location, The Derrick Community Center, will be open from 7 am- 7 pm on the day of voting.
