Special Called Meeting – October 10, 2022
The Little Mountain Town Council met on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Derrick Community Center for a special called meeting. Present for the meeting was Mayor Jana Jayroe, Council Members Marty Frick, Laura McLeod, David Bowers, and Steve White.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm and the invocation was given.
Council Member Frick motioned to enter an executive session to discuss a zoning issue. The motion was seconded by White, and the motion carried. Council entered executive session at 6:33 pm.
Council Member White motioned, and Bowers seconded to enter the regular session meeting at 7: 15 pm.
Mayor Jayroe requested that the town clerk contact Alex Attaway and request his attendance at the regular session meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Jayroe stated that the council would like a brief and informal business plan from Attaway to include the hours of operation for his proposed greenhouse, items to be sold, time frame for the greenhouse to be in operation, plans for any signage to be used and plans for if the business fails. Attaway should also be reminded that if the business opens, he will need to maintain a business license.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:22 pm.
