The Little Mountain Town Council met in a special called session on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 for the purpose of discussing a contractual and personnel issue. Present for the meeting was Mayor Jana Jayroe, Council Members Marty Frick, Charles Shealy, and Jeff Jefcoat.
The meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm by Mayor Jayroe and she gave the invocation.
A motion was made by Jefcoat and seconded by Shealy to enter into Executive Session at 6:33 pm.
A motion was made by Shealy and seconded by Jefcoat to enter into public session at 7:27 pm.
Mayor Jayroe indicated that Council held any action on the contractual issue. Council would like to move forward after October 1 with repairs and/or improvements to the Section House.
Council Member Jefcoat made the motion to present the town clerk with a $500 bonus for additional Reunion duties. The motion was seconded by Shealy and the motion carried 4-0.
Jefcoat also requested a proposal from the current park cleaning crew to add additional duties in order to relinquish council members from park duty. The town clerk will follow up.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:38 pm.
